Cascade Round 2
We left Boise right after work Friday night so that I would have a full day to ride on Saturday

Going from Elk Summit to McCall, Idaho, I was riding on Warren Wagon Road, a nice paved road.
About 20 miles outside of McCall, I was riding along about 70mph, when the bike started handling a little funny. I pulled over and my back tire was flat!

This wasn't a big problem, since I had everything that I needed to fix a flat with me. I inspected the tire and found a nail sticking out.
I had ideas of patching the hole until I got the tube out.

No problem, I still have a spare tube. The spare tube is for the front tire, but in a pinch, it will work in the back.
It took about 50 minutes to fix the tire and I was on my way.

I started to go toward Boulder Lake for a better picture than the locked gate.
Along the way, I made a wrong turn and ended up at a trail head for Louie Lake

Right after taking that picture, I noticed that my back tire was looking a little flat again. I decided that I'd better start for camp while I still had a working tire.
A couple of miles from the highway, my spare tube went flat. Now I'm stranded with no options for fixing the tire and it's going to be getting dark soon.
Luckily, I had cell phone service. I called Tina and had her load up the motor home to come pick me up.
I managed to get a ride out to the highway, so that Tina would have a better chance of finding me.
We got the bike loaded on the motor home just as it was getting dark.
