The Pony Express Tractor Pulling
This tractor carried the name "The Pony Express". It was powered by a blown, alcohol injected hemi engine. It ran in the 5000, 7000, and 9000 pound classes. Occasionally it also ran in the 12000 pound class.
This tractor never actually had a name, but it was usually refered to as "The Twin". Sometimes it got called other names, but they aren't fit for print here. It was powered by two blown, alcohol injected, big block Chevy engines. Each engine had it's own automatic transmission, which were then coupled together by a custom built gear case. The gear case was constructed by my father. This tractor ran in the 7000, 9000 and 12000 pound classes.
